Ack! I've been such a bad crafter lately. Between Justin giving me HL2 and getting back into Oblivion modding (plus the whole going to school thing) I haven't done much at all lately. Mainly just cranking out scarves for the craft show soon, I wouldn't really call it cranking though, more like a slow grind actually. I also really need to stop being lazy and put up more pics of all the junk I've made on my gallery page. I can't even remember half the stuff I have (which isn't really saying much, I'm just forgetful). What I haven't given away is probably floating around here somewhere though.
Seriously though, I need another set of arms. I mean it doesn't take much concentration to do most crochet, and I could get so much more done if I could browse the internet or read or play games at the same time. Of course I wouldn't be able to wear anything with sleeves, and I'd spend twice as much on deodorant...
So it's not a very good plan, oh well, not like extra arm surgery is going to become super common in the immediate future anyways. |
| So I put up a new pattern for a little ninja. I put up the pattern all by myself, which I'm feeling all accomplished about. It's a new pattern, and since I put it up it might have a few mistakes, feel free to correct me if there are! |
Yay! Thanks to Justin I've got patterns up, go on over to the patterns section and check them out. Been working on a little square ninja dude that I'll hopefully have a pattern for. I'm so bad at procrastinating on other projects, I have the shrug that will never be finished and the crochet cabled hat that I had to frog half of last night, and that thing hates me. I guess it's my own fault for trying to make my own crochet cable hat instead of figuring out how to use dpns.
I don't know, I guess it's because I just like going on my own merry way, and with knitting that takes swatching and calculations and all that fun stuff, and with crochet it's just stop increasing once it's big enough. Not that I don't love the look of knitting, cause I do. I think it's mainly because I'm so much more comfortable with crochet. I can usually look at a picture of crochet and figure out what to do, but with knitting I'm just like *bwuh?*

Okay, so it's technically not the first entry. It is my first entry though, so that makes it special, I guess...
Not really much going on here right now. Working on getting patterns up right now (well, Justin is working on getting my patterns up, heh). Hopefully there'll be something interesting soon!
